Going to Bahamas soon. Only time off is in September...Has anyone been then?

Wondering how the weather was if anyone has been to Nassau Bahamas in September? Is it better towards beginning or end of September (as far as clear weather goes)? I've seen youtube videos and pictures of clear skies and sun shine (even tho it's hurricane season). Just wanted a little more info. Thanks!

It's very hot in September and is usually sunny but it is hurricane season, but there isn't much rain so you'll be good! The Bahamas almost always has clear skies with an exception of the tropical storms that pass by and the Spring (May is the worst for rain) so you should be fine! :)

Well, that's the height of hurricane season, so you never know. The Bahamas are often in the path of hurricanes, it seems. I'd want to have trip insurance, just in case. Nassau definitely would NOT be my first choice for a vacation near the Caribbean.
