Ship from West Palm Beach to Freeport,Bahamas?

Question

i going to West Palm Beach on March 23, did any ferry daily going from West Palm Beach to Freeport Bahamas i wish to stay 1 day only or maximum 2 in Freeport or maybe closest port like Boytona beach, etc, thank you , i just not need cruise line if possible,,

Nassau and Free port sucks. Once we got off the boat within Nassau, we would saw a lot of people trying to hustle you out of your money. The nassau straw market on bay street was dirty and people nagging for you to buy something from them. Stay away from J&S and Bow Car scooter rental. My wife and I had 3 scooters within 15mins and all of the scooters gave out on my wife and I but the gentleman refuse to refund us our money($70.00). The police officer on bay street within nassau told me that they could not assist me. I wanted to jump over that desk within Nassau but I did not do that. Free port doesn't have much to offer. if you do not book any thing excursion, you would be left with the only options of sitting on the cruise ship. They drive us around so that you could look at some ugly factories and Sammy Davis Jr old house. Also they take you to port lucaya marketplace. We had more fun on the boat also more fun while stopping at Port Carnival Florida and catching a cab to cocoa beach florida. Nassau and Free port make the bahamas look bad. Nassau and Free port are dirties cities. People yelling none sense and acting as if they are hurting and straving without your money. Boats come a lot into those cities so I do not know why they act like that, I would tell you to change your mind and go to bermuda, if you havent been there

The only one I know of is the "Celebration"...........It is a piece of crap converted ferry they made into a cruise ship. Old, dirty , small and basically a high pressure sales pitch. Leaves out of West Palm beach at 5 pm and arrives at Freeport at 8 am.

Our Lucaya is a OK hotel / resort. They have their own little beach and 2 or 3 pools with a little beach bar. They run a van (for free) from the port out to the hotel .Across the street is a new Bahamian village with everything from jewelry, Subway subs, a liquor store , bars , restaurants , just anything you could want right across the street.

Another ( BETTER ) option is to drive down to Port Everglades in Ft Lauderdale and catch this new ferry service.

Trust me........The Celebration ship sucks............This ferry service is cheaper, faster and a better option. They do day trips and you could do an overnight as well. Our Lucuya also has $20 day passes to let you use their beach and stuff even if you don't stay there. I believe they even will give you the free shuttle with the purchase of a day pass.
