What to do in Nassau, Bahamas?

I'm going to be going to Nassau soon and I have no idea where to go! Can you please mention some fun family type things to do and some restaurants for families also? Thanks for the help!

There's a lot to do in Nassau.



The straw market is a huge tourist shopping area, with lots of native crafts. They make some cool stuff out of soda cans (really!) that we're bought as folk art in the past.



The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island has a huge waterpark and dolphin swim. There are a lot of retaurants on the property as well. I think you can buy day passes, but I think it depends on the time of year.



I remember a little restaurant downtown called "Conch Fritters." I think it's still there. They had good food and a family atmosphere.

Most of the Hotels and Resorts in Nassau already have activities planned for their Guests so there is no need for you to feel overwhelmed about nothing to do.

If you are staying at a Hotel information should be available when you check in or call them before you arrive for their activity schedule.
